From a university engineering group in 2011 to a registered company running more than 45 systems in production — including a large-scale e-commerce platform and a population and education data system used by commune officials and schools.
HDCODE grew out of CodeLap — an engineering group formed in 2011 at the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City. The team spent those years solving technical problems for domestic and international businesses before formally incorporating on 25 September 2018 as HDCODE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
We have deliberately not chased rapid headcount growth. Instead we keep a compact engineering team and own our own platform outright — from the content management system shared across dozens of live websites to the server infrastructure running them daily. That is why a project here goes straight from the person who hears your requirement to the person who writes the code.
Not a service list printed to fill a company profile. These are systems with real users, real data and daily operation.
A retail platform for authentic Japanese products with a large catalogue, order processing, promotion campaigns, customer accounts and a consistent experience across web and mobile. This is a scale of e-commerce most website vendors never touch.
A web system used by hamlet and commune officials and by schools: household and resident records, schools and classes, grade progression tracking and statutory report generation. This class of problem demands absolute data accuracy and multi-level permissions.
We do not assemble websites from downloaded open-source templates. HDWEBS is a content management system written by HDCODE, currently serving dozens of business websites on shared infrastructure — meaning we control the core outright.
We take the brief and return a working system: internal management software, operations dashboards, integration between existing tools, and mobile applications wired into the web platform.
Raising the standard of Vietnamese engineering is not a slogan on a wall — it is the bar we set for every system we hand over.
We are building toward a Vietnamese engineering firm capable of taking on large systems — national-scale commerce platforms and multi-level data infrastructure — rather than leaving that work by default to foreign vendors.
At the same time we keep the door open to smaller businesses: same team, same engineering standard, only the scale differs.
Most businesses still run on spreadsheets and chat messages. Our job is to convert those processes into systems with centralised data, clear permissions and reports you can actually trust.
And to do it transparently: scope written into the contract, source code handed over in full, and the client free to leave at any point with the system still running.
These hold even when a deadline is tight, and even when a contract is large enough to make compromise tempting.
Work outside our competence gets declined and referred elsewhere. Taking it and delivering it half-built costs you far more than an early no.
Full scope and rates are in the quote from the start. Anything out of scope must be approved by you in writing before we build it.
Source code, database and deployment documentation are handed over in full. You can move vendor at any time — we do not hold the keys as leverage.
Acceptance does not end our responsibility. Twelve months of warranty, and someone still answers the phone after that.
